Meet the Doctor

Dr. Douglas M. Reed is originally from Atlanta, Georgia and graduated from Emory University School of Dentistry. He practiced dentistry in Palm Beach County, Florida for twenty years before relocating his family to Orange Park, where he took over a long-established practice in 2005.

Dr. Reed’s focus is on the latest advances in the field of dentistry. This includes continuing education courses, hands-on esthetic classes, and the latest techniques in cosmetic and implant dentistry.

In addition to his practice, he enjoys volunteering at local clinics for the disadvantaged as well as on mission trips abroad.

Dr. Reed is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Northeast District Dental Association and the Clay County Dental Association.

  I had my first visit with Dr . Reed yesterday ! Office staff very friendly . With excellent service . Dr. Reed listened to my concerns and addressed them . And they are caring and compassionate as well . Where other dentists I’ve seen have been nothing but money hungry this is not the case here at this office . Very helpful in coming up with a plan to get you back in the right track. I would recommend Dr. Reed to every one . You can’t go wrong here .

  I have been going to Dr. Reed for over a year. All I want to say is, I am great full,  I was referred to his office. His staff, is very helpful and actually cares about you. Dr. Reed himself, is a very straight forward “this is what’s wrong” doctor. He will show you what is happening and options on how to fix. He also will be honest, if he does not feel comfortable with something and refer you to a specialist.

His prices are not outrageous, they are very affordable and fair, compared to many dental locations in my life.

  I just want everyone to know how great this Dentist (Dr Reed) his asst., Bethany and the gentleman at the front desk Raymond ( if I’m wrong on his name I apologize) and let’s not forget Debbie. I had two teeth pulled and everyone was just the nicest when the extraction was going on. I would recommend ANYONE looking for a dentist to check them out, I promise you won’t regret it, thank you Dr Reed and staff, see you all again soon 👍🏻

  Debbie the hygienist is great! She is kind and caring, gentle with her instruments of torture in your mouth, always smiling. Really the whole office is great from Raymond who checks you in and truly cares about you as a person to Bethany the dental tech who is always smiling and singing happily as she works on you. Dr Reed is outstanding, always asks after you, gentle in his workings and always quick to make sure your not in any discomfort. No one likes to go to the dentist so when I finally found one that makes me feel totally comfortable I still continue to go there even though I moved miles away and have a dental office right outside my neighborhood.

  For quite a long time I didn't want to go to a dentist because of the bad past experiences. I heard so many great recommendations about Orange Park Smile, so I decided to give them a try, and I am sol glad that I did. Dr. Reed and his staff were absolutely amazing.
